Soda Can Disparity Injustice!
The Onion is a satirical online magazine which can often be quite hilarious. I found one of today's articles to be especially clever and funny considering the election year headlines you hear about a small minority holding the majority of the wealth. The headline speaks for itself. Read it and have a good laugh. My favorite line: "Members of this exclusive group come from exceedingly poor backgrounds and have access to outrageously low levels of education, which makes them much better prepared to reap the benefits of digging around in garbage."

I am not certain in which class I fit, i.e., the poorest 1% or those who control 2/3 of the soda can worth, but I have my trash bags stuffed with aluminum stored in my garage and ready to transport to the reclaim center. Who says I am not an environmentalist?
ReplyDeleteLuke,
ReplyDeleteAnd this article is exactly why you have a home-security system, right?
Not only is this the reason I have a home security system, it is also the way I pay for it! Another closely guarded secret is how rich in aluminum deposits is the area surrounding the airport. It is a virtual "magnet" for aluminum cans of all descriptions, but most especially the alcohol brands. I suppose they come back here to drink and then also use it as a place to dump the evidence before going home. So, even as in business and real estate, likewise it is in the aluminum wars: Location, location, location! The home area must always be defended and interlopers dissuaded!
